The economy is coming back, and election is gonna be a referendum on Trump. Partisan tend to rally back to their base closer to the end, and we are seeing that in polling that recently came out. The Dems will win, but it will be closer than Democrats want it.

"Perception" of the economy is so colored by people's partisan leanings that it's hardly a worthwhile measure of anything. This applies to both sides.

I forgot who said this but another funny way of looking at the economy and the midterms is “Americans love this economy but they hate Trump more”
