Isn't the WSJ just self-evidently the answer? They've hated every Democratic President ever.

none are liberal. WSJ is right wing. USA today and Tribune are both pretty far from liberal. I think NYT is right of Wash Post, not sure where LA Times falls.

Why would you include the WSJ on the list, lmao?

I think it's far to argue that WaPo is to the right of the NYT. USA today does well with people who ate lead paint as a child.

Going by editorial boards it would be WSJ, followed by the trib. The other four are all pretty left leaning with usa today being the least so, lat and WaPo being a wash, and the NYT being by far the most left leaning(at least with regards to their editorial board-which is barely indistinguishable from salon at this point)

Editorial Board-wise: WSJ, then the Tribune.

LA Times, hands down lol. Who had Trump ahead in the polls in 2016? Yup.

The SJW WSJ hasn't been right-leaning in many years, if at all. They used to be mostly just business.

Washington Post is fairly in the middle of the spectrum.

I guess when the left has moved so far left into Marxism, everything seems to be right-leaning.

A lot of people don't view the WSJ as a "newspaper".  They view it as a magazine in newsprint form.  I didn't really think of the WSJ as a newspaper until just a few years.

USA today does well with people who ate lead paint as a child.

One of my favorite throwaway jokes in Lady Bird is when Tracy Letts complains that color photographs make every newspaper look like USA Today.

Actually I do remember some inane YouTube drama when some guy was accused by a WSJ journalist of something or other and a subsequent freakout where the newspaper was described as akin to the Grauniad, so that may explain why it has found itself on the list.

Uh, that makes it a bad poll. Hillary won by 2 points.

And it wasn't like journalists from the LA Times were the ones conducting the poll. They just sponsored it to get their name on it.

Hehe, it's funny that you wrote that. As much as I hate the term "SJW," I do sometimes mistake it for the Wall Street Journal acronym of "WSJ." Maybe it's selective dyslexia.

I think it's far to argue that WaPo is to the right of the NYT. USA today does well with people who ate lead paint as a child.

Huh

Obviously their opinion section is insane, but WSJ's clearly one of the big US newspapers and just a step behind NYT and WaPo in national reporting.

Anyway, USA Today is trash which shouldn't be on this list, the Trib is a metro paper now, and I guess the LAT is barely a peer of the NYT/WaPo/WSJ trio.

WSJ is obviously the answer here and the Trib is the only other one which can be described as right-leaning in the American sense.

Oh I don't deny it's an old guard, but it's presence of the list make the answer kind of obvious. It would be like saying "who is the most right-wing: Lenin, Trotsky, Map, Castro or Franco"?
