BTW, Roseanne and her son are disseminating their text messages from today in which she purports to be shocked. Her excuse is that she thought Valerie Jarret was Jewish/Iranian and wouldn't have made the joke if she knew she was black.

Surely she wouldn't try the "I was being racist against Iranian Jews, not blacks" line and expect it to work??

We probably as a society need to figure out which people can be called apes without it being racist and which can't.  And then tattoo everyone's racial identity onto their foreheads so no one makes a mistake.

Maybe continue to ignore my posts unless you are capable of a response that contains some sort of discernible relevant thought or information beyond vague disapproval.

Roseanne just said what Drumpf and his deplorable base are thinking, but too cowardly to say out loud.

I mean, it says a lot that the show was ostensibly supposed to be about how ordinary the average Trump supporting American is, and yet Roseanne Barr proceeds to represent the worst and most stereotypical aspects of them. It kind of does a disservice to those Trump supporters that aren't like her. They have to be out there somewhere, right?
