Who will be the possible candidate that expresses interest and is then talked about a little in the year (now) proceeding the start of the campaign season, but then just sort of fizzles out without ever saying anything further about it? I think it'll be McAuliffe, personally.

Joe Biden and then it might be Sanders other than those two, I don't see anybody else but Martin O'Malley, as well.

Biden, Bullock, Sanders. I'd agree about McAullife too, not too many others jump to mind.

Biden and Sanders. Bullock too but I figure he'll end up running for Senate.

The more Gillibrand and Tulsi Gabbard and Kamala Harris is talked up, more Sanders and Biden and Martin OMalley will lose their position in primary.

Biden and Sanders have far more name recognition then Schwitzer ever did. Schweitzer was never a household name.

Gabbard or McAuliffe

Biden and Sanders are too well known to be Schweitzer-like figures

The "populist" Atlas is obsessed with but doesn't actually run or even come close?

Either Bullock or Gabbard.

Bullock is way better than Schweitzer, but it will probably be him.

No clear equivalent. I do think Biden, Booker, Brown are overestimated.

Didn't Schweitzer stop making noise about running after his insensitive comments towards gay people? In that context (e.g., hyped everyman who has a foot in mouth moment kills hyped bid), Biden's gotta be the most likely.

That's my recollection (re: Schweitzer).

Biden. He practically invented foot-in-mouth syndrome in the Democratic Party.
