I think they were the "it" democratic pollster by providing optimistic polls for democrats and mass amounts of polls for competitive races. They had a habit of offering overly optimistic results for democrats months before an election before herding with other results in the couple weeks leading up. It worked for them in 2012 but they missed several races in 2014 and 2016 which likely led to decreased funding and thus less public polls

They do polls for clients and its up to them whether they want it released to the public. They don't get paid to do the national polls and they are expensive so they don't them frequently.

PPP tends to be more pro-R in its results than are most other pollsters. Of course this is on their own statewide polls as opposed to those for advocacy groups, the latter having some influence on the questions asked.

Good to hear!

The TX and WI poll are not PPP polls in the traditional way! In these cases they polled for others

Aside from its national polling, PPP does not do independent state polling anymore. They only do state polling for liberal clients, and it often shows a ridiculously favorable result for the democratic candidate after the pollster reads them some short message.

To be fair, they still can't even dream of Rassmussen's record of failure.
Amirite bro?

I find it semi hilarious that PPP has decline largely for the same complaints that people were mocked and attacked for leveling at them for years.

Sadly, polling as a whole has declined.
