Personally I oppose this bill, so I will wait 24 hours to see if a Senator who does support this bill is willing to sponsor first. If not, I will move to sponsor, to keep things moving since this will remain on the floor until sponsored.

With no objections, Senator Not_Madigan has assumed sponsorship. I invite the Senator to speak on the bill.

Well, I simply concur with Rep. NeverAgain's conclusion that this bill grants workers a new way to form a union, rather than the Secret Ballot which has been proven to be tainted by influence from management.

I respect Senator NM's view on this issue even though i strongly disagree with the proposed change and intend to vote no, as I believe the secret ballot is much less prone to coercion.

Do any other Senators have concerns? If not, I think we are probably ready for a vote but I will let the sponsor make the motion.

You could have opened the final vote as Deputy PPT. Tongue As is, Senators have 24 hours to object to the motion for unanimous consent.

I support this bill and urge all Senators to vote Aye. However I understand there is a risk of this bill being vetoed so would either President fhtagn or President-Elect Yankee be able to offer improvements to the bill so there won't be a veto? If not I will do my best to get the strongest possible vote total for this bill and then seek a veto override, so Senators who have concerns should express them.

With no objections to the motion to unanimous consent, a final vote is now open on the bills. Senators have 72 hours to vote aye, nay, or abstain on the text in the OP.

I have mixed opinions on this bill; my personal view is somewhere between NM's and Mr. R's. For this reason, I'm abstaining.
