Hurrah! Sullivan and Sanborn lost . NH politics is still local, and backgrounds matter, thank God! The race favors Pappas but at least this’ll be a fight between two respectable candidates.

My thoughts exactly. Edwards is a very strong candidate, and someone I can respect.

Even the official account is taking shots at Sullivan

On the issues, Edwards is still a standard far right conservative.

I'd like to think I know that, considering Edwards is running in my CD.

I'm just saying - he's much more respectable than Steve Negron, who says really creepy things about "taking Kuster home" and is currently defending gay conversion therapy.

Exasperated NH Men must have given up on winning over the Angry NH Women and are now just trying to troll them, presumably.

I'm so glad he did that because it may have been what gave us Rush Holt! I miss that guy.

So Pappas joined the New Dems. That's pretty gross, and with the unexpected blowout in the primary I'm regretting my primary vote.

In NH-2 news, I do have some good news and bad news. There was an effort to primary Kuster after all. It failed, but it happened. After the Dodd-Frank repeal, I thought she needed a strong reminder of who she's supposed to represent.

Bad news: It was from No Labels. Apparently she quit their caucus in 2014 and when they tried to recruit her back, she told them off for being GOP shills and hung up on them. So they decided to try and float a primary challenge. Their prospective candidates were Dick Swett, who hasn't been relevant since the 1990s, whose wife got blown out last time, and is to her right, and Steve Marchand, who was running for governor. While he certainly is to her left, he doesn't even live in NH-2.

I certainly doubt that she wasn't that brusque. She definitely doesn't (and hasn't in the past) took any crap. I almost don't want her primaried anymore - blowing No Labels out of the water has imo proven YT right.
