I live in this district. I strongly dislike DWS and was planning on supporting Canova in the primary although I don't like him much either. However, him running as an independent is stupid and foolish. I understand wanting to have ideological purity but I'd rather not have Canova let a Republican represent me in Congress.

A reminder that DWS gutted the DNC's 2016 strategy during her time as chairperson, bringing in corporations and consultants while undermining state parties. She also opposes medical marijuana, voted to reauthorize the warrantless spying program under FISA (giving more power to Trump's executive branch, btw), voted to table articles of impeachment against Trump twice, and remains one of the most hawkish Democrats in Congress on issues like the Israel-Palestine conflict.

I don't support Canova and I certainly won't support a Republican, but a Democratic majority without folks like DWS would be a more productive and certainly more effective one.
