there are a lot of dem sheriffs in TX-13. Could any of them beat thornberry?

If any Democrat stood a remote chance of winning there (which they don't) a sheriff might be the only type that I could see doing well there.

winning is a stretch, but winning a few counties and/or cracking 30.
