If you were running for U.S. House, where would you run?

I'd pick OR-04 in my home state. Out-of-state, CO-02.

Right now, MI-04.  It's my home district, and is right-leaning but not necessarily wingnut.  And I don't care much for carpetbaggers either.

I'd run in Alabama-07 as a Republican, because although I know I would most certainly lose, I'd like to see what percentage of the vote I can manage to get given my ties to the black community and the fact that my girlfriend is black. I think I could at least get 35%, and maybe more.

I'd primary Ben Ray Lujan (NM-03). OR-04, NV-04, CA-02, and VT-AL would also work. If I were to pick a red district, I'd say MT-AL would be my best bet. All generally fit my populism and I wouldn't have to come running leftward socially.

Either CA-33, CA-37, CA-28, or my own CA-34 (these four compromise LA's urban core.) Otherwise, I'd try and fail to primary DeFazio, who (ugh) represents my home district in OR-4.

NC-12 (current residence) or MA-2 (birth district). It'd be easier for me to win a primary in MA-2, but easier to win the general in NC-12. If I wanted to combine the two in a different district altogether, who knows? Somewhere in the PNW, maybe.

Hmm, that's why I picked OR-04; I'm politically most similar to DeFazio by far out of all the Oregon representatives.

I like Shrader and Blumenauer best.
