Not specifically the state, but the people. If I think of an Alabamian or a Kentuckian I think of a stereotypical redneck. If I think of a New Jersian I think of Chris Christie.

This is, of course, absurd. California is establishment, sane, and, unlike Illinois, is a corporate magnet without corruption. Same goes with the undue vitriol towards Florida and New Jersey, which are Freedom States.

Have you ever considered that people may disagree with you about what constitutes sane?
Of course, but I doubt any American who understands their views thinks Jerry Brown and company are crazy or radical.

The Great Plains block that didn't vote for FDR in 1940 and 1944: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas.

CA in no way fits the description of communism. Not even the PRC is communism anymore. That's a typical Republican strategy to fear people.

Sorry, it's many cool cities can't save Texas in my mind.

Forcing pro-life clinics to advertise abortions isn't "crazy or radical"?

I try not to hate on states, honestly.  However, I probably think the least of Missouri and New Jersey.

Pretty much every Southern state except North Carolina and possibly Texas, as well as Missouri and Washington state.

Arizona is probably the state I hate most, but my first thought of it isn't really a stereotype.

All this hate for South Carolina I find odd, unless it is still in the penalty box for its role in pushing for seceding from the US to save slavery.

Alaska and Maine conjure up the most negative thoughts because they are so cold, but that doesn't really say anything about the people there.

Missouri is probably the state I have the most negative stereotypes with.

It is not crazy or radical. It is sensible regulation.

NJ, obviously.  Most of the east coast really.  At least from DC to Boston.  The south too, though less so.  All the traditionally racist places I guess.  People from Nevada seem to suck at a high rate too, but that just might be my dumb luck.

Vermont and Alabama, plus Massachusetts but that's a personal thing and not really political.
