Given the Giants and Jets play in New Jersey (and Philly is right next to it as well), I'd have to say it should be green as well.

I think you are being far to generous to the Pats:

New England, Cowboys country, and Minnesota (due to bad blood between Eagles and Vikings fans over incidents during the NFC Championship) go for the Pats, but everywhere else is for the Eagles.

I agree with EC's map.  Way more people hate the Pats than like the Pats.  I've said it before, but it's not possible to live west of Hartford and be a Patriots fan without being a big pile of bandwagoning sh**t.  I hope the friends of these people give them constant crap.

What? I rooted for the Pats last year because I’m a northern chauvinist. This year is all about maintained our victory. Stop projecting.

Based on what, your best guess? Yeah, no. ExtremeConservative's map is likely much closer to the actual rooting interests of the US.

Just a tidbit for ya'll though: NJ may be a tossup because I know a lot of Giants and Jets fans who despise the Patriots, but also despise the Eagles because Eagles fans are the worst.

You really think Giants fans will pull for the Eagles?

I would be surprised by ND in HillGoose's map because Carson Wentz is from there and has gained quite a following (unless UND fans are rooting against the Eagles and outnumber NDSU fans).

Do you people actually put that much thought into this?

It's almost certainly Eagles in every non-New England state.

I didn't make that map, apparently it's based on google statistics or something

This is who people are rooting for, not the team they think will win, right?

What station is the extended post-game on? (NBC doesn't have extended coverage)

UND doesn't strike me as a team with that large of a fanbase.

Given that the southern half of the state roots for the Eagles, and the northern half of the state probably hates both the Eagles and the Patriots, it's probably not a tossup.

Paint the map green.  Everybody loves a winner, especially when it's not the Pats.

oh in that case, you're still a bandwagoner.  I hope you enjoyed maintaining that victory.  Now time to root for the....what, is the Sac Kings still the team for trendy posers in the NBA?

Considering that the northern half of the state is far more populous, and the Eagles seem more hated than the Patriots, I'd say it is a tossup if not lean-Patriots.

Well you must be an expert being from South Carolina.

The Northern half is split between Jets and Giants fandom, and Jets fans hate the Patriots.

Much of my family is from New Jersey, I have been there many times, and I am personally a Giants fan. I suppose I'll call you out next time you say anything about a state other than Pennsylvania.
It is generally accepted and fair to say that Giants fans are the largest NFL fanbase in New Jersey. While two NJ groups may prefer the Eagles the largest group would most likely prefer the Patriots, which is why it is hard to say which team NJ would prefer.

This.

My (only) issues with this map:

1) If you're going to include Minnesota rooting against the Eagles, then I think you have to include the Dakotas.  Solid Vikings Country.

2) I think most Vikings fans ended up pulling for the NFC.
