His voting record will look mostly like John McCains voting record if anything.

Trump is throwing his support behind Romney. Interesting.

Which is the reason of Mormons loving Romney more than Huntsman?

First of all, people in general love Romney more.
People as moderate as Huntsman are rarely popular among conservatives and religious individuals. Also, Romney is just an amazing man.

What else would you expect? Romney was clearly going to win this regardless of what Trump did - he chose to be on the winning side.

Of course. He knows backing anyone else is futile.

"If Trump had said 4 years ago the things he says today about the KKK, Muslims, Mexicans, disabled, I would NOT have accepted his endorsement" -Mitt Romney, March 2016

"Thank you Mr. President for the support. I hope that over the course of the campaign I also earn the support and endorsement of the people of Utah." -Mitt Romney, February 2018

This means one of two things. Either Trump has changed his positions on the KKK, Muslims, Mexicans and the disabled in the last two years or Romney has no backbone. Wonder which it is...

Romney is gone. He is no longer the man we used to know him as I was considering endorsing him but this. No backbone whatsoever progressives and liberals don't be surprised if his voting record looks exactly like hatchs

Yep, it's politics, but that doesn't excuse his lack of a backbone. Using the "it's politics" line is a great way to condone corruption and allow shady/stupid things to happen.

What a cuck.

Does Mitt Romney actually believe anything? Has he ever? The man has held every position on every issue for more than 20 years now.

Can’t wait for him to be just another Heller, Sasse, Flake or Corker, publicly talking about how “concerned” he is with Trump but voting in lockstep with him.

So glad this man was never our President.

To be fair to Mitt, he's always been consistent on the position of "more money for me and my rich friends."

It won't matter much either way. Romney will win in cakewalk and raise his hand with the other senate Republicans and vote for the Trump agenda.

I guess Trump might as well to garner some goodwill, but Romney is a carpetbagger with no principles and it's sad that the people of Utah will elect him just because he's Mormon. On the plus side, Hatch is out, and Romney can't be too much worse.

A lot of people don't remember 2012 and really bought into the #ResistanceRomney shtick. Whoops.

This will reduce Romneys margin by about 5%.
