I like the idea of forcing those polled to choose between two candidates, even if they don't like the two candidates. It shows who the general populace would settle for. Plus, it's not like the polls are binding or anything

They have a large inactive party base that largely turns out only during the election period, which is why they often don't represent a large part of the polls. Smaller, more active parties such as the PUP and Alliance are often overrepresented as almost the entire caucuses of both turn out.
