Hello citizens of Fremont I have returned to seek another term in the Fremont House of Commons. I've noticed recently that our legislators haven't been very active, so I have decided to run again to increase activity in our government. I will be a representative for all of Fremont regardless of party registration. I hope to work together with all members of the House Commons to keep our region great and prosperous.

In my previous term I was one of the most active members of Parliament who worked hard to pass legislation that is good for Fremont. I try to comment on every piece of legislation. I voted to expand high speed rail in Fremont and I voted to fund an expansion of parks and recreational services in Fremont while ensuring that funding is properly allocated. I voted to protect the environment because I believe that climate change is a problem. I voted to improve Fremont's infrastructure in inner cities. I voted against bills that would unfairly increase taxes and I voted against a stand your ground law that I felt was wrong.

I think my record shows that I'm a moderate legislator who is perfect for Fremont. Here is my platform:

Abortion: I am pro-life. Abortion should be illegal, except for if the life of the mother is in danger, rape or incest. Planned Parenthood should only receive funding for non abortion related services.

Drugs: I support the legalization of marijuana. I do not support legalizing any other drugs.

Education: Education is vital to the future of Fremont. I will make sure that our schools are well funded and teachers are paid appropriately. I do support charter schools, but they need some regulations.

Environment: I believe that climate change is caused by humans and that we need to protect the environment.

Gun control: I support background checks, training and identification to own or purchase a gun. If someone wants to own a gun they need to demonstrate that they know how to use it, clean it and properly store it.

Immigration: I support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who have not committed any crimes.

Infrastructure: I will work to ensure that Fremont's bridges and roads are well-maintained and taken care of.

LGBT: I personally believe that the definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. However, it is not up to the government to determine who can marry who. I support gay marriage and ensuring that everyone is treated equally. I don't care if someone's transgender, because that's their choice.

Minimum wage: The increase in minimum wage should be tied to inflation. Certain jobs should be classified as minimum wage. i.e summer jobs. Counties should set their own minimum wage as different places in the region have different costs of living.

Taxes: I will lower taxes for poor and middle class citizens, while ensuring that the super wealthy pay a fair amount. I am firmly against a millionaire's tax or estate tax.

Friend, I think you're a great MP but we disagree on somethings.

My opinion is the bold

I voted to protect the environment because I believe that climate change is a problem.
On this we can agree as both the future of our  children and future generations deserve a clean environment....
I voted to improve Fremont's infrastructure in inner cities.
Awesome! Great votes and worthy of consideration to another term by its self!
I voted against bills that would unfairly increase taxes and I voted against a stand your ground law that I felt was wrong.
People pay for the society that they get as taxes are just a part of life! It depends on the stand your ground law so if it was a bad bill I can agree.

I think my record shows that I'm a moderate legislator who is perfect for Fremont. Here is my platform:
Moderates can consider the issues and I have respect for them!

Abortion: I am pro-life. Abortion should be illegal, except for if the life of the mother is in danger, rape or incest. Planned Parenthood should only receive funding for non abortion related services.
Personally me too. Wink My party and wife would cook my ass if I governed this way. lol

Drugs: I support the legalization of marijuana. I do not support legalizing any other drugs.
Well, I guess I am extreme but at least we can agree half way!

Education: Education is vital to the future of Fremont. I will make sure that our schools are well funded and teachers are paid appropriately. I do support charter schools, but they need some regulations.
100% agree with you!

Environment: I believe that climate change is caused by humans and that we need to protect the environment.
Agreed

Gun control: I support background checks, training and identification to own or purchase a gun. If someone wants to own a gun they need to demonstrate that they know how to use it, clean it and properly store it.
My stance! I believe in the second amendment

Immigration: I support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who have not committed any crimes.

I agree! People that work and pay taxes should be given a chance!

Infrastructure: I will work to ensure that Fremont's bridges and roads are well-maintained and taken care of.

Bingo

LGBT: I personally believe that the definition of marriage is between a man and a woman. However, it is not up to the government to determine who can marry who. I support gay marriage and ensuring that everyone is treated equally. I don't care if someone's transgender, because that's their choice.

Me too, but out of fairness and human rights I accept that all people should be able to live their lives in peace. What's it too me? Transgender people should also have rights and we can also agree on this

Minimum wage: The increase in minimum wage should be tied to inflation. Certain jobs should be classified as minimum wage. i.e summer jobs. Counties should set their own minimum wage as different places in the region have different costs of living.

Not against what you're saying as it does make sense!

Taxes: I will lower taxes for poor and middle class citizens, while ensuring that the super wealthy pay a fair amount. I am firmly against a millionaire's tax or estate tax.

I agree with everything besides the last part. Wink

Endorsed! Not perfect agreement but good enough
