Technically, the American people has of course the right to elect a president who's suffering from a personality disorder. The other issue is whether it is a particularly smart move by the American people to actually do so.

We deserve who we vote for. It's not like it was a secret that Trump was a full-on mental degenerate from the beginning of his candidacy, so I feel very little sympathy for the people who suddenly came to that realization now or even post-election, even though it's been slapping every sentient American in the ing face for almost three years now how retarded he really is.

Yes, America deserves the president it wanted, Hillary Clinton. Sadly that's not how it worked out for us.
