I would personally go to Russia, give Vladimir evidence that Roy is peeping at young Russian girls, and hopefully he "mysteriously dissapears" Theres no reason we shouldve lost a senate seat in Alabama, but they just had to nominate a pedophile in the primary

I actually believe Martha Roby will try for the seat. I think a pro-Trump candidate would win, but Trump's approval rating will go down... Maybe Roby pulls off something.

I don't think Jones should be considered an automatic loss if the environment is bad enough for Republicans. There is a small chance Jones can carve out a brand for himself if he makes the right moves over the next 3 years. There is no guarantee Trump will be reelected or that it will be a neutral environment. In fact, at this point I'd say there is more reason to believe it will be back-to-back bloodbaths for the Republican Party in 2018 and 2020. Unlike Obama, Trump was never popular and has shown no ability to do the things he needs to do to build a winning coalition for reelection that doesn't depend on a deeply unpopular and overall weak opponent like Clinton. The point being that a wave environment gives Jones a small chance.

I think it'll be Bradley Byrne or some statewide official. Moore could perhaps run, but I think Alabama Republicans at large are done with him after tonight.

Pls no

I think SoS John Merrill would be a good candidate. Watching his interview, he seems like a respectable and kind-hearted guy, but then again, I don’t know much else
