Once again the evil liberal media fires someone right away and shows more integrity than the GOP and even the American public at large.

Yeah, the mainstream media and liberals clearly have shown far more integrity than the American public at-large.  That's why NBC and the NYT immediately ran stories about Harvey Weinstein instead of spiking them like rapist-protecting sleaze-bags.  And I'm sure we all remember how Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer immediately and forcefully demanded John Conyers' and Al Franken's respective resignations.  Even the CBC didn't hesitate for a second to denounce one of its co-founders because liberals have far too much integrity to ever protect a sex predator just because we happen to agree with his political views.  That's part of why most liberal Democrats, along with women's groups across America, supported impeaching Bill Clinton.  Oh wait...

I was going to comment on this earlier, because it was evident that NBC did an investigation into this before they fired Lauer, but I wasn't didn't know how thorough an investigation it was.

I think it is now beyond evident that this wasn't a simple matter of a single person making an out of nowhere accusation that NBC just believed and fired Lauer on the basis of no evidence or out of fear they'd be accused of 'not taking sexual harassment seriously enough.'
