What is your opinion of ad-hominem attacks?

It's attacking the character of the person making the argument instead of the argument...like when someone doesn't like FoxNews as a source or bringing up some past embarrassment the person made or some flaw in their appearance....everybody does it because it's easy and fun (like your sister) and sometimes it gets tiring rehashing the same sh**t over and over again with the different morons using the same stupid arguments.  Have you ever ran into a 9-11 truther, that sucks, but the 23rd truther..uggggg.
