The Democrats gave us Trump, for good or ill.

Are you seriously putting this all on the Democratic Party? Sure, Clinton was an awful candidate, but no one forced Republicans to pick Trump in their primary. They had a huge slate of candidates to pick from, and they sided with the loudest, most offensive and scandal-plagued candidate they could find.

No. The Republican primary voters and general election voters too intellectually lazy to fact check did.

Oh yes! Those pesky voters!

I don't blame the voters, but I definitely blame Fox "News" and the right-wing propaganda machine.

Well... yeah. He needed to votes to win. The voters gave us Trump. I'm sure you thought you were being clever and witty.

The Clinton Machine is the only thing defending the Clinton's (outside of here). It's just so past an operation it makes it seem like everyone is defending them.

Why do people still use the Clintons as a distraction?

Because Hillary won't go away.

Dems for some reason have an unrational hatred of Bush .

They radiate a sense of entitlement, phony virtue, and faux compassion.  Even Republicans see through this.

There's something hilarious about people condemning Trump's sexual misconducts while idolizing Good Ole Bill.

If there is ever any evidence of Bill's guilt, I assure you liberals and feminists will come down much harder on him than Republicans ever have.

It sounds like you don't really want her too.

Most of the scandals are fabricated or reported out of contex.

For one, Hillary Clinton's second in command at the State Department is who negotiated the uranium deal but it still had to be approved by nine separate government departments including the Department of Justice/FBI. Yet somehow Hillary was able to maneuver all this alone.

To be objectively fair, it's plausible to argue that Secretary Clinton could have put 'her thumb on the scales'. Much like Zinke is implicitly being accused of doing with the Puerto Rico power contract.

I would also like the deplorables to explain how Hillary was going to get us into World War III with Russia, while simultaneously colliding with Russia (and the FBI!) to defame Trump, while Russia also hacked her campaign, flooded social media with anti-Hillary propoaganda to either flip voters or keep them home. Thanks in advance!

If Trumpers had enough self-awareness for contradictions like that to be relevant, they wouldn't be Trumpers in the first place.

I think the point went over both of your heads.
The point is that the GOP digs up dirt from years past, and does seventeen investigations and seventeen reports, from a handful of committees and subcommittees on sh**t our country doesn't need. So why shouldn't the Democrats act like a bunch of assh**es also ?
But if it helps your looking-for-a-safe-place brain to look at it differently, go for it.

Bill is a pervert.  Has anyone disputed that?  The major difference is that he was a good president.

Trump is a documented sexual deviant, denies it, his supporters deny it, and he’s a terrible president.

Also, Bill has not even been in this equation for over 15 years now.  So that’s why liberals rarely bring him up in this debate.  Had he been a candidate in 2016, that would be different. But he wasn’t.

I think the more relevant question is why do people still defend Donald Trump? He is such a horrible person, so manifestly unfit for office and with such a destructive and harmful agenda, that his approval rating(while much lower than any other President at this point in their term) still being at 37% is an indictment upon America.

And yet this thread is asking questions about people who have been accused of more things but convicted of less.

Not at all, judging by that recent YouGov survey that showed a majority approve of him now. Tongue

What is irrational is how everyone has whitewashed his presidency.

Hopefully Trump will be too stupid and incompetent to start a wag the dog war and/or establish the dictatorial government he so obviously wants.

Because they are constantly attacked by right-wing loons conjuring up idiotic conspiracy theories. They are upset that Trump is an utter disaster and that Bill, a Democrat, turned out to be a successful President while the GOP is struggling to give America a half-decent president.
