They've been driven out of Iraq entirely. Internationally ISIS is a bigger threat than on the ground in Syria at this point.
this is totally correct (if you don't ask the inhabitants of the occupied territory) but started long before trump was elected...he even criticized the handling of the operations and flynn sabotaged the raqqa plan.
I'm totally against almost every military intervention against ISIS in the Middle East personally. I think every bomb we drop generates more fighters. My idea is rather simple: they bomb us, we bomb them. They strike a concert in London, we blow up the water tower in Raqqa. They run down people in a crowded city? We blow up their bridges. Make life impossible in Raqqa and people will quickly turn against their ISIS overlords.
Also, bombing Assad when he's bombing ISIS doesn't make any sense. I thought that was the most insanely reckless thing Trump has done thus far.
