Probably a better fit here than the Congressional thread

Labrador would win in Idaho, it's Likely R/Safe R, unless Idaho Democrats run someone inspiring.

In Boise? Hot, hot, hot. Everywhere else meh. CDA has nicely shed its AB/militia rep, though. Really charming town, actually

If it was a Kansas situation where hardcore conservative policies have hurt the state to the point where Democrats are competitive, I could get excited about beating Labrador. If Idaho's been doing great, I have less hope.

Brad Little would continue Otter's policies mostly. Idaho is pretty bad about school funding but so is liberal bastion Seattle, and they have an income tax. Labrador would easily Brownback Idaho.

I could forsee that too. The "Nobody dies" comment is exactly the kind of stuff you say when you're an ALEC/Heritage shill with no real interest in helping anybody in your state.

I hope he finds a person with the last name Newfoundland to be his running mate. Smiley

Little will hopefully best Labrador. Labrador has Fulcher also running, who will take votes away from him.

I greatly prefer Sandpoint to CDA, which is sketch outside of downtown.

CDA is nice north of the freeway in the dull suburban part. Definitely some nit great neighborhoods though, especially kinda NE of DT.

Standpoint is gorgeous

I've only been to CDA and Moscow. CDA has nice areas but other parts are definitely...not as nice. Moscow is a pretty standard college town, basically Pullman but smaller.

Endorsed! Says some stupid things, but will make a fantastic successor to Otter.

First, he says stupid things because he thinks really stupid things. Secondly, he would be a terrible successor daughter who's been a grown up in a row. As has been previously noted elsewhere in this thread, he is very likely to Brownback Idaho.

What is CDA?

Yeah, in hindsight this was a stupid post to make. I was under the impression that Otter was a libertarian type, and that Labrador wasn't a complete wackjob, but after further research it is clear that neither of those are the case. Tongue

I believe they're referring to Coeur d'Alene.

Correct. Biggest city in the Panhandle. Otter is conservative, but he's tight with the Chamber and the Mormon establishment

I can't stand the tea-party types. Hopefully Brad Little (or someone else) wins the primary.

In my experience, a Republican doesn't have to be a tea bagger to tea bag their state. Mary Fallin is a perfect example of this.
