If you oppose the Iraq War, why would you ever prefer Haley over Gabbard?

Makes absolutely zero sense, IMHO. By my assessment, Gabbard is one of the politicians least likely to promote another Iraq War. Haley is one of the most. I'm also just shocked 70% of the forum are Dems, but a third would be willing to give up 100.00% of their supposedly desired social and economic policy in favor of promoting foreign policy principles that lead to foreign policy consequences they claim to dislike. That's insane and disgusting.

Also, guys, make sure to answer the question in the title in your reply.

Oh, and context for this:

Sadly, the first three responses are ridiculous trolling.
Antonio, those who would prefer Haley over Gabbard on domestic policy are an extreme rarity here.

Zioneer, that is not an answer.

...because foreign policy is not the only important political issue?

(I'd vote for Gabbard over Haley, fwiw.)

Cause Haley is way better then Gabbard on Economic Issues.

For the Dems- Cause they feel betrayed that Gabbard attacked Obama's policy on syria a lot. It is similar to the Jim Webb vs John Kasich thread where many republicans voted for Webb despite the fact that Kasich is more conservative on nearly every issue .

I am very dovish overall, but either Haley's nor Gabbard's positions on foreign policy are entirely clear. Initially Gabbard was very skeptical of the Iran deal, and she has hardly said anything about North Korea, although to her credit she did recently tweet out that she preferred to "deescalate." Haley's positions on wars are not super clear either. If she were president, would she start one? Gabbard just comes off as a fake, a grandstander, and creep, where there is something going on with her that isn't explained.

Because I'm not a foreign policy voter? And neither one is a foreign policy realist in the mold of Nelson Rockefeller, Dwight Eisenhower, Gerald Ford, and George H. W. Bush?

Because Gabbard is what is commonly known as a "tankie", and she supports foreign policy hawkishness.... when it's done by anyone but the US.
