Hillarycare- was an employer mandated health insurance proposal (which required all employers to make sure all their employees have insurance)

Public option - is government run health insurance which is not payed by income taxes or payroll taxes but by premiums just like private healthcare so people who choose to get private healthcare dont need to pay for it

I would easily  go with public option over hillary care as that is actually more conservative then the public option because it would have less regulations and is more beneficial to businesses then hillarycare. I prefer Obamacare to either of them but public option over hillarycare

Hillary campaigned on the public option.

-How come I never heard of this? And, as I'm a pretty well-informed person, very few voters probably knew of this. Probably cost HRC the three northern states.

The employer-driven health care system is awful, so public option by default.
