Killerpollo wondered where I heard of the Texas secessionist movement.  Read in the link I posted.  I do not advocate Texas completely becoming a sovergn nation, but some things in here do look good...

Their Constitution would be a lot shorter if had just simply said, “The Government of Texas has no power to do absolutely anything.”

lol, I'm sure that's what it looks like on a surface level.  There might be some kind of government in there, but I haven't read far enough.

I can see some people have forgotten/don't know about the Republic of Texas standoff (a la David Koresh @ Waco, but with different results).

Ernest is quite right.  The Texas Constitution basically says very little, which is the reason why it's being amended constantly.  Highly amusing.
