Here are some other interesting findings in this article...

• The GOP approval rating has increased thanks to an increasingly positive opinion of it by its members. Republicans give their party a net favorable rating of +71, up from +49 before the election. Republican approval of their party in Congress has doubled since 2015.
• Almost half of Americans say Trump is likely to bring the right kind of change, whereas only 23% say he will bring the wrong kind.
• A survey of 13-17 year olds showed 80% feel Americans are divided over important values, 60% think we're heading in the wrong direction, and 25% say they have a lot in common with people holding different political views. Party affiliation is very close as 29% self-identify as Democrats, 23% as Republicans, and 24% Independent or other.

That's cause for concern, but the situation was flipped in early-mid 2013, and look what happened in the 2014 elections

GOP was behind like 5% on the eve of 2010 an look what happened. The party that loses normally gets cranky at everything
