A House United

'I'm delighted to announce today that I will be running in the special election for the House of Representatives, which is to be held next weekend. I enjoyed my short post-presidential retirement, but the fight must go on, the cause must endure and our vision for Atlasia must never die.

I'm so proud of all that we've achieved together since October; whether it was cutting corporate tax loopholes, raising the minimum wage or entering the Paris climate agreement it's clear we've made a great deal of progress in Atlasia. Our game is also stronger; the joint session of congress that we launched helped clear up the backlog of laws, and allowed the House to get on with it's work, rather than chasing legislation from months ago.

I don't want to bore you with a long speech, as my pitch is simple. We need a 9th member of the House until the February elections, and I know that the skills, the experience, the relationships and the passion that I have will make me the strongest candidate to fill that role. I'll be publishing more here in the next couple of days, but I look forward to starting a new journey'
