12 of the 26 flags competing in Round 1 have advanced to Round 2.  They are:
From Egypt's cities!

al-Qahirah (Cairo)


Bur Sa'id (Port Said)


as-Suways (Suez)

From Lower Egypt!

al-Buhayrah


Dumyat


al-Gharbiyah


Kafr ash-Shaykh


al-Sharqiyah

From Upper Egypt!

Asyut


al-Fayyum


al-Jizah


Sawhaj


Vote for the three flags you like least and would like to see eliminated.  The top three vote getters will not survive to compete in Round 3.

1 - as-Suways (Suez)

Lewis' llate addition to his vote failed to save Kafr ash-Shaykh, but it did doom Asyut. for which I am thankful.

Asyut, Dumyat, Kafr ash-Shaykh, and Sawhaj will all have their flags furled and not flying in Round 3.
