You need to cut down the quote for copyright reasons. You should only paste in a few paragraphs.

“Warren missed her moment in 2016, and there’s reason to be skeptical of her prospective candidacy in 2020. While Warren won reelection, her margin of victory in November suggests there’s a ceiling on her popularity; Baker garnered more votes than she did in a state that is supposed to be a Democratic haven,” The Boston Globe editorial board wrote.

Yeah, if she wanted to run, her best time to run was 2016 I think. She was too afraid of Hillary though. You have to strike when the iron is hot.

Yes 2016 seemed like her ideal time. I really like the idea of her being president, but her ancestry gaffe has made me rethink if she has what it takes to actually win. I mean she just walked right into that and revived a stupid line of attack from Trump.

I don't know, we'll see. Candidates who may not have seemed too viable anymore might rebound depending on the debates and other political maneuvering, so who knows.

She's polling worse than Gillibrand...

Just as the article says, she'll start off hot - but the second 2/3s of Harris, Biden, and Sanders start running, she'll be down to 5% or worse in the polls.

She’s already a pretty polarizing figure who falls for Trump’s troll bait on her 1% Native American heritage. She’s also a northeastern Ivy League Professor with a vagina. She did worse than HRC in her own home state against a fairly unknown state legislator opponent despite it being a D+8-9 year and Dems doing very well with suburban educated whites nationally. She was also almost down to Beto in a recent poll in her home state.

Yeah please God not her.

No not her. She doesn't have charisma. If she had Harris's charisma she might of been able to deflect the Native American controversy some. I'd say she is one of least charismatic of the female nominees.

She isn't, though? Gillibrand has been polling around 1-2% in every primary polls.

Its amazing how far Warren's stock has fallen. I respect her, and I feel she would make a good President in many aspects. She is strong on policy and I think she is more bipartisan on many issues than people give her credit for. You have to be charismatic and/or have a strong base in order to win a Presidential primary. Warren doesn't really have either of those. Many progressives are no longer die hards.

She chose not to endorse Bernie in the primary, and now she doesn't pass the purity test anymore. Nevermind that this was probably a smart move on her part, as her endorsement likely wouldn't have made a huge difference. Hillary would still have won, but the party would have likely been even more divided.

Warren had a window to actually run in '16 but she didn't want the job at the time, and I'm sure she was too intimidated by Hillary to run against her. Then again, I could be eating these words a year from now. . .

No, she was 3rd, with 11% in that poll. Beto had 10%.

Oh, sorry. I was thinking of the Harvard/Harris poll (thinking that was an MA poll because of the "Harvard", but it is national). Warren is way down to Beto in that one nationally.
