But why would anyone doubt Trump's him honesty?  I can say unequivocally that he is the most honest candidate ever to run.

Pence did well precisely because he was not willing to defend Trump.

This is true, but it's good for Pence.  Not so good for Trump.

Pence is the best thing that has happened to Trump in this campaign.

I think Trump knows this, but it's kind of like I know broccoli is better for me than potato chips.
