Significant drop off from Obama's $181 million in September 2012. Although I'm not sure it matters too much.

I feel like the words "significant drop" would be more applicable if she raised, say, $90 million.

I'm going to guess that Trump will have a "significant drop" from Romney's 2012 numbers though.

The more significant drop here was in the number of small contributions, which is about half of what it was to OFA in 2012.  That's not a great sign for Clinton, especially if it's also reflected in volunteering rates.

Obviously, I'm sure Trump has the bigger fall-off.  Just sayin'.

This, in a nutshell, is why Hillary is not 1/100th of the politician Obama is.

I'm sure progressives everywhere will think exactly that when she appoints a 5th liberal justice in the Supreme Court who then overturns Citizens United and Heller.

What is she even going to spend this money on? Her ad reservations for the Fall was only like 90 million or so (?), and now she has way more than that on hand right now. Combined with what will probably be a large October-through-Nov7th haul, she is going to be drowning in cash. I hope she moves resources into places like Missouri, Indiana and elsewhere so she can help lift up our Senate prospects there.

Hopefully that all goes into a insane ground game and expansion/downballot lifting efforts.

Something I was just wondering was - How are we getting outspent badly in Senate races if she is pulling in all this money for the DNC/state parties? The amounts are truly staggering. Breaking off 40 million to split up between the most competitive races would really do some good. Deborah Ross could really use some help, and Hillary would do herself a favor if she dumped a ton of money into FL to try and knock out Rubio so he has no launchpad in 2020.

That's part of how they're able to raise money like this.

For anyone wondering, the 181 million Obama raised in 2012 was record breaking. In 2008, Obama only raised 150 million in September.
