This might be the last nail in his coffin at the next debate. It will give way for HRC to scorch him on his hypocrisy and reaffirm the American public on the commitment she has to her marriage vows.

"He said he was bringing up Mr. Clinton’s infidelities because he thought they would repulse female voters and turn them away from the Clintons, and because he was eager to unsettle Mrs. Clinton in their next two debates and on the campaign trail.

“She’s nasty, but I can be nastier than she ever can be,” Mr. Trump said.

“Hillary Clinton was married to the single greatest abuser of women in the history of politics,” he added about Mr. Clinton. “Hillary was an enabler, and she attacked the women who Bill Clinton mistreated afterward. I think it’s a serious problem for them, and it’s something that I’m considering talking about more in the near future.”"

Maybe this is all a ploy, and he'll come to the next debate ready to discuss policy in depth to throw her off.

Because there has to be someone in Trump World telling him this will get him nowhere. Right?

Trump is not that wily.  And it's pretty clear he has no interest in learning anything at all about policy.

Because there has to be someone in Trump World telling him this will get him nowhere. Right?

Newt Gingrich (who would certainly know about this) warns him to not go there.

To you and those who responded above, do you really think Trump is in a listening mood right now? He barely ever listens even when things are going well for him.

How is he even going to bring this up? He realizes it's a townhall debate right? No one is going to ask a question about Clinton's marriage. Will it be his opening statement?

He used the word 'bigly' last debate, don't expect much from this man.

"Mr. Trump, what specifically do you want to do about health care?"

"I'm going to make health care great again, believe me.  We are going to repeal Obamacare, and draw lines around the states and it's going to be fantastic.  But if we want great women's health care, we have to make sure our women don't get raped, just like Bill Clinton did to Juanita Broaddrick.  And Hillary was an enabler, folks."

If Trump goes there...

Clinton: The only person who committed adultery on this stage is you

End of election

As I just posted in another thread, this would be Trump setting off multiple nuclear bombs in his own face. He's certainly dumb enough to do it though.

1) Bill's affairs increase sympathy for Hillary.

2) Bill & Hillary kept their marriage together, Trump left his for newer model trophy wives.

3) It can easily be flipped; "Trump is an idiot on actual governing, so he gets personal".

4) It's a man attacking a woman - still not cool in the US.

5) It instantly makes his own affairs fair game.

Pretty much this. That's a death sentence, quite literally. Short and sweet, functions as a soundbite, and nails him to the wall.

I hope it backfires in his big fat face.

So sad that all he has to offer the American people is all this garbage he spews. He's not even interested in politics. He's just a #1 jerk. Wise up Trump followers. He'll turn on you in a heartbeat because he doesn't care about anyone but himself. You're dreaming if you think otherwise.

part of me feels that one of the reasons he got the nomination was exactly for this thpe of confrontation.  the extreme right wants hillary to be confronted with this and to atone for her sins. trump was the only lunatic to explicitly state he would make the clinton marriage triubles sn issue and he is going to follow through.

I agree.
But when his severe narcissism gets in the way, he acts like a crazy goon.
So it would not surprise me at all, if it were to happen.
Look at his 3AM ranting tweets re Alicia Machado ..... this clown is completely unplugged from reality.
