The inauguration is Friday. What's Bernie's path to getting sworn in?

The next inauguration day on a Friday is January 20, 2045. Assuming he gets 104 years old, then he could be sworn in by just winning the election of 2044.

The path? Having been elected President pro tempore of the Senate; when the President-elect, Vice President-elect and Speaker all decline to take office as President or Acting President.

If he runs in 2020, he'll be sworn in at the next inauguration. Possibly he'll be sworn in as VP even if he doesn't.
