but but but... i thought Trump was the pro-campaign finance reform candidate Republicans have been waiting for??? What the hell happened here???

I mean, it's not exactly like Citizens United was some giant big-donor front group.  It was a conservative 501(c)(4) that wanted to run a documentary and argued it shouldn't be barred from doing so within 60 days of the general election.  It was a pretty specific, circumstantial gripe they had with campaign finance reform.

No that was Obama in 2008 until he looked like he could beat Clinton in the primaries.  It was around that time Obama said "she will say anything and change nothing."
