Nope a social conservative at the bottom of the ticket does nothing when you have a Two-corinthians Christian at the top. A lot of evangelicals are struggling here this election, whether to vote or sit out.

Pence will help Trump secure farmers and agriculture people turned off by his anti TPP positions but most of those people would've voted for him in the end anyway.
