At a recent campaign appearance in Nevada, Trump pronounced the state's name like an Easterner who has never given it the slightest attention and then argued with the crowd of local supporters about it and told them they were wrong.

Later he "answered" questions about the very touchy issue of nuclear waste storage at Yucca Mountain in a way that made it clear he neither knew, nor cared, nor cared to know anything about it.

He may have just handed Nevada to Clinton.

He did definitely hurt himself there, as anyone who ever spent a meaningful amount of time in Nevada would know.

It was clearly a sarcastic mispronunciation. Don't you know- all of Trump's ignorance is really sarcastic. Trump is all-knowing, and her has the best sarcasm.

Considering he literally asked, "How stupid are the people of Iowa?" during the primaries and appears to have a good shot at winning that state, I don't really think voters take these trivial things into consideration.

If you watch the video, it just doesn't make any sense what-so-ever, why he would be cocky with his own crowd about the pronunciation of Nevada. In all honesty, if you watch the video, trump is just being a huge d*ck about it. Like trying to pick a fight with the people in Nevada .... his Nevada supporters in the crowd.
What the f**k is he doing !
What an absolute idiot !

And the Yucca Mountain controversy still does exist. This is an important issue to the people of this state. He is probably dodging the issue, because he knows very little about it.

Most people who pronounce it the wrong way usually don't make it out of the state alive.  Yes, that includes tourists (though foreign ones often get a pass since they don't know how to pronounce anything correctly, bless them).  He made a big gamble getting his crowd riled up to want to lynch somebody - anybody - and then said that in front of them?  You have to give him credit for having the balls, to be fair.

Meellion instead of million
YUGE instead of huge

Trump has some interesting ways to pronounce things.
