It's like Trump believes all these publications, polls and networks are all against him and it's some sort of inside job by Hillary.

The only argument he has right now is RV vs. LV. But he'd likely be losing those polls as well right now.

Of course Hillary! surged ahead after the DNC, but things will come down to Earth in the next week or so.

Trump does worse with LV, at least he has in the past.

The Khan story really doesn't matter. If you haven't figured it out by now, a good number of Trump's supporters aren't fans of Khan or Muslims in general.

Oh no, we've certainly figured that out.  You aren't fans of a dead soldier and his sacrifice.  You don't care about the people who defend this country.  There's not a dime's worth of difference between you and the segregationists who, upon seeing black soldiers arriving home from World War II in Mississippi, start piling them out of the truck and beating them.

You've made it abundantly clear what kind of person you are.

The sad thing is that others have wasted their lives defending you and your right to say these things.
Excuse you?

Firstly, you have no business lumping me into my analysis of what most Trump people think. Most does not equal all and political analysis is what it is.

It's tragic that Mr. Khan's son lost his life fighting in a war that Trump opposed and Hillary! voted for. I thank the Khan family for their son's sacrifice.

Sacrifice aside, I do not think that the majority of the American people care about this issue one bit. Both Khan and Trump are getting the most use out of this controversy as possible.

It flipped with Reuters during the RNC. But that poll is a hot mess.

Confederate tail? You do know they allow Yankees in the South, right?

Don't go attacking the messenger for a political analysis. This Khan thing matters dear to your little leftist heart, but most of America: 1) has never heard about it; and 2) doesn't give a damn.

As I have said before, support for Muslim immigration is not exactly something Joe Six Pack is for. More Americans support a temporary ban on Muslim immigration than oppose it.

Isn't it?

The media are always against a Republican.

Oh yes, the media that absolutely tore Hillary down over a bunch of emails. The media that was found to be dishing out more negative Hillary coverage than even Trump for some time during the primaries. That media?

You guys can keep telling yourself that the media is somehow in the bag for Clinton, but no matter how many times you say it, it is never going to be true. Sure, each side has a number of outlets that are favorable to their party (eg Fox News leads all the networks and they are very clearly pro-Republican), but in all there is no grand conspiracy. Most of the MSM has ulterior motives that are not tied to either side. They want ratings and money and they chase the drama / controversies where ever they might be, and if need be, they take little things and blow them out of proportion. They have done this with both candidates for some time now.

This is exactly it.  The reason Trump is getting more negative coverage is that he is saying and doing more negative things.

No, Donnie, there is nothing wrong with the polls. You blew it. You failed. You lost. The last few days proved that you're not capable to be commander-in-chief. As much as I love the idea of an outsider and especially a businessman in the White House, there's just no way many people, including myself, can any longer support you. Even if you just think what you said about the Khan-Family (what shows your character), why do you really say it? Either because you're too incompetent to run a campaign, or you just don't want to win. Or maybe both.

How did this happen? Your support for Trump seemed unassailable

Do you think he is just "trolling" us ?
Playing as if anti-trump, but not really ?

I did at first, and I sure hope he wasn't/isn't anymore, because trolling for a couple days is one thing, but trolling for that long would be straight up weird.

Ah yes, the war Trump opposed from July 2004. Last time I checked he supported the invasion at the time.

This is a common mistake. See, rabid Trump supporters don't go by facts, but rather only by what Trump says. Facts say Trump supported the war at first, but Trump said he didn't. Naturally what Trump says is correct and reality/facts are wrong.

That's the most eloquent post you've ever made, and not just because I agree. Smiley

The media are always against a Republican.

They backed Bush in 2000, and would've backed Kasich or Rubio against Hillary.
