Sacrifice aside, I do not think that the majority of the American people care about this issue one bit. Both Khan and Trump are getting the most use out of this controversy as possible.

They want ratings and money and they chase the drama / controversies where ever they might be, and if need be, they take little things and blow them out of proportion.
