I think a lot of you are going to be shocked when this has zero affect.  This would be better if it came out in say October?  This is wayyyyy too soon and if he knocks her out in debate #1 who's going to care or even remember what happened in May?     Trump being the sociopath he is probably baited the judge to put this out there now for the very reasons I mentioned.

Had everyone forgotten Bain Capital by election day in 2012? Or when Romney won the first debate? No, it defined him as a candidate and put a ceiling on his support.

Exactly.
And this is just the beginning. There will be more information released .... more interviews by former employees (including middle and high management within "the university").
trump will lose with personal lawsuits against him in court, he will lose against actions with attorney generals of various states, and it seems he will lose in November.

Today was an awful day for Trump, with his unhinged press conference and outright lying regarding his veteran's contributions. Now documents from his lawsuit are being unsealed and they reveal predatory practices to take advantage of potential students.

Yeah, he'd be in deep sh**t if his opponent isn't Hillary.
No.

Romney isn't no Donald Trump.    He was a stiff and uninspiring ,so it was very easy to define him as that.  Heck he still is the same sad Mitt right now in opposition to Trump.   Trump is brute and bullish, an upfront rich asshole.   People already know that.

Besides that  Obama was more liked and has remained that way.  Even someone like me may not agree with Obamas philosophy or stances, but still  find him likeable.   Not the case for Hillary.

This is the kind of story that isn't going to go away. Trump has to deal with multiple legal battles on the issue and there are will be new people coming forward to talking about it.

This is one thing were Rubio found some traction, he just didn't put enough focus behind his attack.

I think it could have a huge affect if HRC can attack him effectively on it. The fact that somebody that claims to be worth $10 billion is pulling BS like this is well a joke.

The Atlantic has an article about this appropriately entitled "The Art of the Swindle."

Hopefully some of these former Trump University employees will show up in Clinton Campaign attack ads.

Trump needs to get this behind him as fast as possible.

It's really battle of the baggage at the moment.

It will hurt him pretty badly.  Make the case that everything he is saying now is the same thing he did to the Trump University people.  I think that will cripple his candidacy.

That's right, after Trump becomes president, he wishes to re-open his scam university, presumably with sneakier, more complex scams. What a great guy!

Also, you need to watch this video attached to the article on CNN.com.
I didn't know that the sales force behind Trump Univ stealing $34,000 from people, were this vicious and uncaring (actually, I think the guy in this video was also "an instructor" who was teaching some of the classes). Their morals and ethics when taking from others, who really could not afford to pay for these bogus classes, is amazingly disgusting.
I don't know how people like this can live with themselves. Ugggggg !
