Cruz will stage a party revolt. Will not accept this as legitimate. Trump is and will always be a Democrat.

Are you just trolling now?

Nope. Not trolling. I fully expect a party revolt.

You know Cruz is speaking at Trump's convention, right?

And that's how the revolt happens. Cruz will not endorse and will say that he forms a new party.

Which is too late to get on the ballot in most states (how many could he even get on at this point?).  His best hope would be to win enough states to force a vote in the House, but there are a couple flaws with that plan:

1) By splitting the Republican vote, Hillary wins in a 400-EV landslide like Wilson '12.
2) If you force a vote in the House, the House has to vote for you.  Cruz is well known for being beloved in Congress, so this is a foolproof strategy.

If Cruz had really wanted to get elected President this year he would have continued in the race after Indiana and led a fight to unbind the delegates.  Instead, he realized that was a longshot from multiple angles, dropped out gracefully, and is setting himself up for 2020.  At the MN GOP convention here in May, he played a nice video for all his supporters all but hinting he'd be back in four years.  Tonight's speech is part of that plan of looking statesmanlike/Reaganesque.  Still probably won't work, but that's his play.

Also, there's no such thing as political correctness. It's called being respectful to people who are different. And sadly no one is actually forcing you to do that.

I mean, "political correctness" is why Western society no longer calls black people n-ggers or Jews k-kes... at least not in a mainstream way. Is this the type of negative development you're fighting against? What is so threatening about showing some humanity and being a decent person? I will never understand this.

TRUMP doesn't mean things like the n-word, he more talks about things like Radical Islamic terrorism, which Obama won't say.

I'm just telling you what you're railing against when you spout off about political correctness.
