Why should we allow the lgbt community to donate blood when it's been proven that the disease risk is just too high? I cannot in good conscience support this bill even with the right of a victim to sue.

Quite true. While it is higher among Gay Men, I don't see how in good conscience someone cannot support letting us give blood if we are tested for STIs and are proved to be safe from them. It is the height of lunacy for me.

It's really a no-brainer, more blood donations and more equality. You pass an STI test, you donate blood, you are on your way.
