This should probably be said. I acknowledge that I was horribly wrong about underestimating Clinton's electoral chances (and Trump's). It looks like the D's a WWI-style trench warfare primary after all, whereas the R's suddenly turned into a blitz.

In my defense, Bernie did better than most anyone expected. Some people had him winning only a few tiny states. He scrambled a few beer track/wine track tropes, like winning coal country by decisive margins.

Needless to say, I am quite happy with being wrong. The year could still be a nightmare, but regardless of what happens with the FBI in the coming weeks and months, she won electorally, and redeemed '08.  So you take what you can get I guess. Anyway, I will now accept my flagellation.
