How will the dead campaigns of kasich and cruz fare in Washington State on Tuesday? Cruz and kasich have been getting close to 30 percent combined since they dropped out.

Kasich should get a little better than Oregon, maybe hitting 30% in Seattle. Cruz could perform well in Eastern Washington.

As I noted in the Oregon thread, from the past 20 years, here are the 5 worst performances by a presumptive Republican nominee after all their major opponents had dropped out (not counting Keyes 2000 or Paul 2012 as "major opponent"):

Trump in 2016: Nebraska 61.5%
Bush in 2000: Utah 63.3%
Trump in 2016: Oregon 64.1%
Romney in 2012: Indiana 64.6%
Bush in 2000: Colorado 64.7%

CO/UT in 2000 came shortly after McCain dropped out and IN 2012 was a couple of weeks after Gingrich dropped out.  So it looks like the primaries that come immediately after someone wraps up the nomination are the ones where the presumptive nominee is still relatively weak.  He tends to do better at the very end of the calendar.  So does that mean that, since we're one more week into "party unification" past Oregon, that Trump is going to do a bit better now, or will he still be mired at ~65%?

Considering Kasich still did worse than Cruz in Oregon, where he campaigned, Cruz will probably get second. It will be one of Trump's worst performances after becoming the presumptive nominee. He'll probably get in the low 60s, and the high 50s are also possible.
