That's like asking how Texas would vote if Clinton selected Julian Castro or Wendy Davis.

It might make NJ vote 2 points more Republican than otherwise. Zero affect on outcome.

No one's thrilled with Christie anymore here in NJ. Peaked too early.

Safe win for Hilary

Trump loses by an even larger amount. Christie is toxic in Jersey

According to some Democrats: Hispanics in Texas vote 90-10 for her even if they did vote 45% for Richard Perry.

No, it's not. Christe won the NJ governorship in a massive landslide, unlike Castro and Davis, who have never won a statewide contest in Texas.

With that said, NJ will swing heavily towards the GOP.

Given Christie's approvals, a 2 point swing away from the Republicans is more likely (on top of Trump's massive swing already, of course).

Wendy Davis is probably more popular in TX than Christie currently is in NJ. It's not 2013 anymore.

Lol, didn't Christie basically shirk his duties as governor in order to run for president (like Marco Rubio did)? Christie would just make the landslide loss in New Jersey into an even bigger landslide.

The VP effect is overstated to begin with.

NJ will tease like it always does in that one poll in the cycle where Republicans think they have a chance there, only to end up in the Democrat column at the end of the day.

No no no, no way...a big fat nope.

Christie's approval ratings are terrible right now and Obama is popular here. I'd wager Hillary breaks 60% against Trump.

It's okay though. Kathleen Sebelius won Kansas in a landslide in 2006, so surely if Hillary picked her as VP the state would swing heavy D!
