Some people predict Trump will win 11 delegates in Rhode Island. How? The rules are messed up.
My prediction is Trump getting 64% and 10 delegates.

Isn't it just a proportional statewide allocation? So 56% would get 11 delegates, and that's what I think Trump will get (Kasich 5, Cruz 3).

Trump would need to break 67% or keep one of Kasich or Cruz under 10% in the CDs to come out with 2 delegates; otherwise the CD delegates split 1-1-1. The statewide vote is also proportional with only a 10% threshold.

I think Cruz missing the 10% threshold is a real possibility; it might be his worst state in the union.

He already did worse than 10% in Massachusetts and Vermont.

Yeah, but more candidates were in the race then.

I think getting over 67% in at least 1 CD is possible. The real question is how the 3 RNC delegates are to be split. The RI GOP Delegate Selection Plan was really unclear as to how that would work.

I was under the impression that the 3 RNC delegates were included with the 10 statewide delegates, so 13 delegates were proportional. But it wouldn't surprise me if they left it vague like that so they could change it up a bit if it screws Trump out of a delegate.
