So far in 7 states, including many southern ones that he should have been strong in, Ted Crus has yet to win a county east of the Mississippi River. Will he do it eventually and where?

Indiana will have some Cruz counties in the central corn belt and Fort Wayne, while Trump takes Gary, the south, and Rubio takes Indianapolis.

Illinois, Wisconsin is also possible but IN should be the best state for Cruz of all the eastern states that haven't voted yet.

Maybe Ottawa, MI, which is strongly Republican and Christian Reformed.

Cruz seems to do well with Rural Midwestern Fundie Evangelicals, so I'd guess he'll win a few in downstate IL.

NW Illinois along the Iowa border seems like good territory for Cruz. I think he is more likely to win there than "true" downstate.

Yeah, he'll win the crazy Dutch people just like he did in Iowa.

He'll probably win some in Kentucky, thought I have no idea how many. Since this is the first and probably last time they will ever do a caucus, weird things may happen there.

I can confirm that Illinois south of the Mason-Dixon Line is very conservative.

Even when this was posted, he had won some counties in the part of MN that's east of the Mississippi.
