(4 votes. 2 dem, 2 GOP, I'll be upping them as time goes on....)

President Cordell Hull is loved by America, and so is his VP. Hull fully pushed through the New Deal, won the war, and all was good for him. He declined to seek another term, instead hoping his VP would continue his legacy, as he had continued FDR's. Vice President Truman is assumed to have a lock on the nomination, Barkley, a former VP nominee is challenging him. Senator Richard Russell, Jr. and Robert Kerr are challenging Truman too. There is a very active Draft-Wallace movement though, the 1940 nominee enjoys high approval ratings in the party... For the GOP, you got former VP Nominees Douglas MacArthur, a loved General and former VP Nominee Thomas Dewey, a loved governor. Patton is also running, as well as several other candidates. And Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr., watch him, he's been endorsed by the Speaker of the House, he's a serious candidate.

Vice President Truman is narrowly leading the democratic field, in an all out slug-fest with former 1932 VP Nominee and Senator Alben Barkley. The Republicans are battling between California Governor Earl Warren, 1940 Nominee Robert Taft, and Senator Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr.
