In a few months, if he keeps this up, he will no longer be in the Senate. Additionally, he would not be able to expand Bush's neocon wars and potentially risk World War III.

Anti-libertarian, anti-populist, right-wing social, fiscal, and values conservatives really only have Rubio, though.  We had Walker, Jindal, Perry, and even Santorum/Huckabee, but, now, semi-libertarian Cruz has to be our second choice.

Really a terrible night for the "+10, +10 Political Matrix Club".

He has already said that no matter what happens, he's not running for re-election. So, in other words, he is going to be out of the Senate no matter if he "keeps this up" or not.
