Great interview. I think Bernie made some good points in his campaign (campaign finance reform and income inequality must be addressed), but he’s right that we need a pragmatic leader, who focusses on all important issues and knows how to deal with congress and other countries.

Its easy to campaign for all sorts of unrealistic goals when you don't actually have to govern.  Being in office where your decisions actually matter (in other words, NOT in congress) leads to pragmatism.

Its why Republican governors are slowly accepting the medicaid expansion, while Republican congressmen are still in rage mode.
