(If Rubio is elected of course) Would Tom Cotton be a good pick for VP then? I could see that bringing him forward to the Republican nomination in 2024.

Isn't another way to phrase this "Would Tom Cottom be a good choice for Veep in 2020?"

He's a young Senator with an impressive military record, who gets along well with his Republican colleagues and is comfortable getting involved in national conversations. He could be a good fit for certain nominees.
