How would you make Game of Thrones into a film series? Go into as much detail as you want.

You really couldn't unless you cut out most of the plot or made 20+ films out of it. Or just focused on one storyline.

Definitely not. A film (even a whole series of them) couldn't possibly do the complexities of the novels justice. Heck, even the TV show with their 10 episodes per book policy (which has been quite tinkered around with in later seasons) still struggles with it. A film would have to cut out a lot of material, and probably only focus on one storyline, if they wanted to pull it off effectively.
